About a 7-minute walk to Higashi Chaya District. A spacious, private rental machiya townhouse with an engawa veranda overlooking a tsuboniwa courtyard.

Located near the Higashi Chaya District, "Higashiyama Kagerohi" inherits the traditional atmosphere of Kanazawa. The preserved entrance with its stone basin and stepping stones, along with the snow-viewing shoji screens that offer a glimpse of the garden, exude the charm of the past. On the first floor, there is an open dining area that connects to a Japanese-style room facing the garden, as well as two washbasins. The second floor features two elegant Japanese-style rooms with blue and vermilion Juraku walls, one 6-tatami and the other 8-tatami in size. When all the Japanese-style rooms are utilized, futons can be laid out for up to 9 guests, allowing for a luxurious stay even with a large group.

- About a 20-minute walk (1.6 km) from JR Hokuriku Main Line “Kanazawa Station”
- From Bus Stop No. 6 at Kanazawa Station East Exit, take the Joka-machi Kanazawa Loop Bus (clockwise), get off at the 3rd stop, “Moriyama 1-chome,” then walk about 3 minutes
- Take a taxi from the taxi stand at Kanazawa Station East Exit; about 1.8 km (approx. 7 minutes)
Directions for taxi drivers: Turn west at the “Higashiyama Sanchome-kita” intersection (between the Moriyama-kita intersection and the Higashiyama intersection). After about 100 meters, you will find us on the right.
