【Arrival】 Upon the arrival of the high-speed boat or ferry, we will greet you at the Ojika Port Terminal. 【Reception】 Please proceed to the "Ojika Island Tourism" counter located inside the terminal for check-in. If you arrive on the island before 2:00 PM, feel free to spend your time as you wish until check-in. During this time, we can store your luggage at "Ojika Island Tourism" in the terminal. 【Check-In】 At 2:00 PM, our staff will guide you by car to your designated traditional house accommodation and provide all necessary information regarding your stay. After check-in, there are no curfews or restrictions on your activities. 【Stay】 Enjoy your stay freely at your own pace. 【Check-Out】 At 11:00 AM, we will pick you up according to your departing boat schedule and escort you from the traditional house accommodation back to Ojika Port Terminal.

Access to Ojika

Approximately 1.5 hours by high-speed boat or about 3 hours by ferry from Sasebo Port in Nagasaki Prefecture. About 5 hours by overnight ferry from Hakata Port in Fukuoka Prefecture. A small island with a population of approximately 2,600 people. Ojika Town consists of 17 islands, with settlements on six of them: Ojika Island, Madara Island and Kuroshima Island connected by bridges, as well as Oshima, Noushima, and Mushima served by regular ferries. Nozaki Island, part of Ojika Town, is now uninhabited except for the manager of the simple accommodation facility "Nozaki Nature School Village."
