Introduction of the Accommodation

Ojika is pronounced as "O-jika."
A small island located at the northern tip of the Goto Islands in Nagasaki Prefecture. The entire island is designated as Saikai National Park due to its majestic and uniquely beautiful scenery and coastal views. It has also been selected as one of "The Most Beautiful Villages in Japan" for preserving the nostalgic original landscapes of Japan.

When you arrive in Ojika, the island greets you with a variety of landscapes that challenge any preconceived notions of "island life." Wander through the charming alleys of the fishing town, discover unexpectedly vast countryside, and enjoy sudden breathtaking views of the sea. Amidst these unique village sceneries are homes once belonging to samurai and fishermen. These over 100-year-old traditional houses, which have been part of island life for generations, have been beautifully restored to combine their timeless charm with modern comfort. They now shine anew as accommodations where guests can enjoy a truly enriching stay. Each house is reserved entirely for one group at a time. Take your time to relax and immerse yourself in the refined island lifestyle preserved on this secluded island surrounded by waves.
