  Healing Accommodation

  Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. We felt even more relaxed than at a relative’s home in the countryside and enjoyed spring in the satoyama. We thoroughly enjoyed a hearty breakfast, and the Goemon-style bath as well. We’ll be back again. Thank you very much.

  It was excellent.

  It was a very charming accommodation with a great atmosphere. The fireplace was also wonderful. The soba course dinner at Roan was excellent. However, as expected in winter, the traditional house felt quite cold. Staying here in the middle of winter might be quite challenging.

  The accommodation was filled with kindness, delicious cuisine, and the charming atmosphere of a traditional Japanese house. In the morning, the delightful aroma of freshly cooked rice filled the air, and we enjoyed carefully prepared, delicious meals. Experiencing activities like chopping firewood and heating a Goemon bath was refreshing and enjoyable. I would love to visit again in a different season.

  During our stay, the locals warmly welcomed us and shared lively stories about the traditional house and the village, making it a truly memorable experience. Additionally, we were incredibly lucky to witness an extraordinary number of beautiful fireflies, something we had never experienced before.

  60th birthday celebration

  We stayed as a family of six to celebrate a 60th birthday. The staff were very pleasant, making our stay truly enjoyable. The fresh air, dinner shuttle service, exquisite breakfast, flowers, and scenery all became unforgettable memories. We hope to visit again. Thank you very much!

  Hospitality of the Villagers

  A long time ago, when I was a child, I remembered staying at a relative's house in the countryside. The breakfast prepared by the local people and made in the kitchen was wonderful. I also enjoyed the handmade chestnut sweets served with tea.
