You can enjoy a "whole house rental" of heavy and warm houses, renovated from 160-year-old traditional Japanese houses in a village. Fields and satoyama, sky and birds, soil and vegetables, wind crossing the valley, the smiles of villagers, and supreme cuisine... Spend an eternal time as one of the villagers, where there is nothing but tranquility. ■ The Charm of Maruyama Village ■ We propose a new type of stay where you can lodge in a genuine satoyama village. Although the houses are traditional, they have been renovated to create a comfortable space that blends newness with nostalgia. The Room features a wood stove, and some Rooms, like "Honoho," even have a Goemon bath, allowing you to experience rural life from just one night. Additionally, the Room is equipped with a kitchen for self-catering, so you can bring your favorite food and drinks and enjoy your time freely. ■ Breakfast ■ Satoyama-style Japanese breakfast At your reserved time, a freshly prepared breakfast by the villagers will be delivered to your Room. The menu is supervised by the soba restaurant "Roan Matsuda" within the village. * For dinner, please visit the dining facilities within the village (Hiwa no Kura, Roan Matsuda) or nearby restaurants in the city. (Please make a Reservation yourself.) We offer free Shuttle Service from the Property to restaurants (approximately 5 km to nearby city areas). Self-catering is also possible in the simple kitchen within the accommodation. ■ Accommodation Flow ■ Upon arrival, please come to the front building (30 Maruyama, Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture). A village map will be provided. Move to each accommodation building (guided by staff, 1-minute walk). 　↓ Check-in procedures in the accommodation building (staff will guide you through each Room and Facility). 　↓ Please manage the locking of the doors yourself when going out. 　↓ Check-out at the front desk (if you wish, check-out procedures can also be done in the accommodation building). Return the key. ■ Bath ■ Each Room is equipped with a bath, so please rest assured. The accommodation "Honoho" features a Goemon bath. You can also experience lighting a fire and heating the water with firewood. ■ Access ■ [For guests arriving by train] Get off at JR Fukuchiyama Line "Sasayamaguchi" Station (65 minutes from Osaka Station via the Tamba Rapid Service) 9 km northeast from Sasayamaguchi Station (20 minutes by taxi) [For guests arriving by car] 8 km northeast from Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway "Tannan-Sasayamaguchi IC" (approximately 15 minutes) * Please head north to the very end of the small valley on the west side of Sasayama Homei High School.
