This time, we’d like to introduce the charm of Toba City’s hidden gem, Arashima Beach—located just steps from our Accommodation—as well as our in-house facilities and tips for enjoying the beach comfortably.

Arashima Beach is known for its clear, clean water with very little sea odor.
It’s so transparent you can clearly see the grains of sand.

With a shoreline of about 130 meters, it’s a compact beach that tends not to get crowded.
The gentle waves make it a safe and relaxing choice for families with small children.

- Hours: 9:00 – 17:00
- Available during the season:
Lifeguards will be on duty to ensure safety.
Changing rooms, outdoor cold-water showers, and restrooms will be available free of charge.

You may still enter the beach outside the official season; however, lifeguards will not be stationed and facilities such as changing rooms will not be available.
Please take extra care and enjoy at your own risk.
“Kameya” Comfortable Facilities & How to Use Them
The beach offers cold-water showers only,
but our Accommodation provides additional facilities so guests can stay comfortable during their visit.
1. Outdoor hot-water shower available
After swimming, you can quickly rinse off sand and saltwater with warm water at our outdoor hot-water shower.
2. Check-in while wearing your swimsuit
After enjoying the sea, you’re welcome to check in still wearing your swimsuit.
You can go straight to your Room to change—making everything smooth and easy.
