As of March 2026, a landslide has occurred near Hatahoko in Shioya, Nyukawa-cho, Takayama City, and a section of National Route 158 is completely closed to traffic.
Road Closure and Detour Information
Closed section: Shioya, Nyukawa-cho (Takayama City) – Hatahoko, Nyukawa-cho
Detour:
Passenger cars: Please follow the guidance signs near the site and use the parallel municipal road (Shioya–Hatahoko). Expect about 5 extra minutes compared to usual.
