Kura Sauna & Cultural Heritage Accommodation Moricho is an Accommodation created by renovating the approximately 100-year-old former Moricho Ryokan. Loved since the days when Oga’s port town was thriving, the former Moricho Ryokan supported Funakawa, Oga City as a lodging hub from its founding in the Meiji era until 2006, walking alongside the daily lives of the local community. In 2024, about 13 years later, it was renovated while preserving its original character and reopened as an Accommodation to welcome you once again. Stay in a cultural property and enjoy a moment at our bar featuring Akita sake and craft sake. Retreat in “Namomi Sauna,” a sauna created by renovating an entire kura storehouse.
