A property exclusively for couples, limited to married couples and adult pairs. Each room features a semi-open-air bath filled with flowing onsen water, and when you open the window adorned with vibrant greenery, the gentle murmur of the clear stream makes you forget the passage of time. Our carefully selected linens are all hand-washed in-house, and the custom-made yukata and pajamas, crafted with triple-layered gauze, are renowned for their enveloping comfort. In Oku-Kurokawa, escape the hustle and bustle of daily life... and indulge in the luxury of doing nothing.

Enjoy a culinary experience that engages all your senses, featuring vegetables nurtured by the majestic nature of Aso and seafood from the Amakusa Sea, skillfully prepared by our chefs. Our dining area offers table seating and a teppanyaki corner on the first floor, while the second floor features semi-private rooms for a more intimate setting. Kumamoto is known as the "City of Water," uniquely supplying its entire water system with pure groundwater. At Waraku, we use this natural spring water throughout our facility. We take pride in serving rice cooked with this spring water (sourced from our contracted farmers) and miso soup as part of our heartfelt hospitality.

In the large public bath, the rustling of trees invites a relaxing and leisurely time. This is an open-air bath made of large rocks, nestled among the trees. From the surrounding nature, you can appreciate the beauty of each season. At night, you can unwind under the starry sky.
