Notice from the Accommodation

Notice of Construction for the Annex (Detached Building)

We will be carrying out construction of an “Annex / Detached Building (Compact Private Villa)” on the west side of our property (parking area).

The construction period is scheduled from May 7 to around August.

This Facility is scheduled to open in September 2026.

During the construction period, part of the parking area will be fenced off to clearly separate the work zone from guest-use areas.

Please note that there will be no changes to parking spaces for staying guests or to the services we provide.

While we will take every possible measure to ensure your stay remains peaceful and undisturbed, please be aware that outdoor work noise may occur during daytime hours.

From September 2026 onward, our current building will be introduced as “Main Lounge Villa - OMOYA,” a private rental space for one group featuring a lounge and guest rooms.

The newly built annex will be introduced as “Private Villa - HANARE,” offering a more compact, quieter private rental experience for one group.

We sincerely look forward to welcoming you to this place as it enters a new chapter. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha, affectionately known as Osen-gen-san by locals, originated in 27 BCE when Mount Fuji was enshrined as a deity and its spirit was pacified.

The moment you step into the guest room, you will be enveloped in a natural aroma. Particularly noteworthy is the camphor scent of the single slab of camphor wood used for the bed and headboard. During your stay, you can relax and unwind, surrounded by the calming scent, the warmth, and the tactile feel of wood at every touchpoint. At MUKUten., the space is adorned with Japanese woods full of romance and energy, such as Jindai trees of cedar, zelkova, and elm that lived over 2,000 years ago in mythical times, as well as Yakusugi cedar trees over 1,200 years old.

From the exclusive seating reserved for guests, you can enjoy the borrowed scenery beauty of the collaboration between the traditional Asama Shrine's First Torii Gate and the renowned architecture designed with the inverted image of Mount Fuji at the Shizuoka Prefecture Mount Fuji World Heritage Center. Furthermore, on days blessed with good weather, if you can view the real Mount Fuji from the Fuji-view window, it is an unparalleled auspicious experience. Here, you can relax in a private sauna or a hinoki bath while enjoying the borrowed cityscape.
