Owl Resort Arifuku Onsen

I am a fan of Arifuku Onsen.

During our annual visit to Arifuku, we usually stay at our regular accommodation, but this time we decided to book this accommodation created through a revitalization project. Having read other reviews in advance, we were prepared for the unusual layout and the fact that prior communication was only possible via LINE. We arrived earlier than planned and were able to park in front of the entrance. However, if you arrive late, you may need to park on a slope, so those with larger vehicles should take note. Since it coincided with the morning market event, we received detailed guidance from staff which was helpful. The outdoor bath had an open washing area as well; since it was just starting to get cold during this season, it felt extremely chilly. It might be worth considering adding another layer like a wooden mat on the floor of the washing area for insulation. After enduring the cold while washing up quickly, I rushed into the onsen for warmth. Upon finishing my bath and returning inside while still undressed felt awkward; I ended up changing outside but lost all warmth gained from bathing—this made me feel disappointed overall. From this perspective too, I believe improvements are needed regarding having no designated changing room in their layout. As for meals: although they featured Shimane Wagyu beef as advertised—it was served cold which made it greasy and less enjoyable unfortunately... Most dishes except seafood hotpot lacked warmth when served; improving temperature management during meal service could significantly enhance satisfaction levels overall. In terms of amenities within rooms—they only provided paper cups despite offering drip coffee packets making them inconveniently difficult-to-use! Introducing locally-made Arifuku ceramic mugs instead would not only improve guest experience but also promote regional craftsmanship contributing towards community development efforts simultaneously! Early morning preparations using hairdryers placed inside mysterious small rooms led us encountering sudden water leakage dripping down unexpectedly from upper floors above lasting roughly five minutes before stopping abruptly altogether leaving lingering frustration behind ultimately prompting early checkout decision thereafter... Convenient location-wise especially suited if planning multiple visits exploring nearby onsens around town though! Hoping necessary improvements can be implemented wherever feasible given genuine desire supporting growth prosperity surrounding beloved Arifuku Onsen community moving forward positively together ahead!
