  • Gratitude and Encouragement

    Thank you very much for taking care of us during our 3-day, 2-night stay. I recently read a magazine passage saying that travel is about venturing deep into a place and encountering an essence you can only meet in that moment—I truly agree. It felt restrictive yet somehow freeing; inconvenient, yet we hardly noticed. This Ryokan (deliberately not a Hotel) has a wonderful handmade feel and plenty of room to grow. Arifuku bianco was also delicious. It was a space where we could enjoy even more local sake, wine, and whisky. Of course, visiting the public baths had its own charm as well. Iwami Kagura was powerful and impressive. My rating is slightly strict.

  • It was stylish and wonderful.

    The building’s design felt thoughtfully curated, and the indigo dyeing was wonderful.The Onsen water at Arifuku Onsen was also excellent, and I’d love to visit again.Just one small note: the curtain in the toilet area didn’t feel very relaxing.

    [Guest Benefit] Just a 1-minute walk from our Accommodation! Receive complimentary tickets for the public bath.

    We provide all guests staying at our Accommodation with a complimentary “Bihada-no-Yu Arifuku Onsen” public bath ticket (one per person).

    There are three Onsen within about a 1-minute walk from our Accommodation, and we also recommend enjoying an Onsen-hopping experience.
    In each guest room, we provide a bath basket (basket bag) that is convenient for visiting the public baths.
    Simply pack towels, a change of clothes, and amenities in the basket, bring your Onsen ticket, and head out in our comfortable 100% cotton roomwear to easily enjoy the charming atmosphere of Arifuku Onsen.

    [Gozen-yu] 1-minute walk
    A popular retro-modern exterior; the hottest of the three baths with no added water
    ・Hours: 7:00–22:00
    ・Closed: Tuesdays

    [Satsuki-yu] 1-minute walk
    A free-flowing natural hot spring loved by locals, located in the center of the hot spring town
    ・Hours: 10:00–21:00 *On Tuesdays (instead of Gozen-yu): 7:00–22:00
    ・Closed: Thursdays

    [Yayoi-yu] 2-minute walk
    The lowest temperature of the three—ideal for a slow, relaxing soak
