This was a repeat stay following last year. Last year, the Room felt slightly more spacious, so I assumed it had been upgraded. This time, it was the Room I reserved, but it didn’t feel cramped at all. I rented a massage chair and a foot massager, so the area around the desk became difficult to walk through, but that was on me and not an issue. I was able to relax. I was also impressed by the number of power outlets.I also enjoyed breakfast at a leisurely pace—it was delicious.Thank you very much.
Located along the Old Karuizawa Ginza Street and close to the station, it was very convenient, and we could easily reach the Hotel on foot. Classic Hotels are nice too, but many are in locations that become pitch-dark after sunset and are difficult to walk around; this Hotel has an excellent location. The meals were delicious, and while the Room is not particularly large, it is well laid out with good flow, so we had no issues. They also offered complimentary drinks including alcohol, with a great selection of snacks, and the fireplace had a real wood fire burning—making us feel truly welcomed by the Hotel and resulting in a wonderful stay. It felt like a Karuizawa Hotel we would love to return to.
