Renovated and reopened in April 2018! Enjoy a 1,500-square-meter Onsen beach with natural hot springs, an athletic park in the forest, and many activities perfect for families and children.

  • We stayed in the Junior Family Room.

    I have used this facility multiple times, and this was my first visit since the children's play area was renovated. The play area has been greatly improved, and my child was very satisfied. We were able to enjoy a wonderful time, including the meals. However, there were two disappointing points: 1. There was a stain on the room's sofa that looked like a bedwetting mark, but no explanation about it was provided. 2. To access the room via elevator, you need to use a card key; however, only two keys are provided per room. The Room is spacious enough for up to five adults, but having only two card keys is quite inconvenient. I hope this can be improved in the future.

  • The children were very satisfied.

    I visited with my daughter and two grandchildren. Although there was no notice at the time of Reservation, some construction work was being carried out, so we were disappointed that we couldn't use the Facility we were looking forward to. However, as compensation, there were free Facility usage and complimentary snacks provided. The meals were served buffet-style with a wide variety of dishes, including delicious local specialties made from regional ingredients. The view from the Room was spectacular, allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty of nature.

[July 2025: “Aso Boya” has finally reopened after renovation!]
Exciting new play equipment is here, including an indoor trampoline, a spinning cart that parents and children can ride together, and a bouncy slide. The popular climbing wall and ball pool from before the renovation are still available. We’ve also added a new area where children aged 2 and under can play safely.
Reimagined as a Soraniwa-style space filled with the warmth of wood and inspired by the forest, Aso Boya is ready to welcome you.
Please come and enjoy it on your next visit.

    This autumn, enjoy Mini 4WD with your family at Kitayuzawa Mori no Soranowa!
    With the dedicated Plan, each room will receive one complimentary set: [1 Mini 4WD car + original sticker + 2 batteries].

    At the venue, a Tamiya-approved Mini 4WD course—specially designed for Mini 4WD—will be installed!
    Take on a time trial on a course whose layout changes every month.

    There will also be an exhibition of 150 past Mini 4WD models from Tamiya’s history, plus the Mini 4WD Archive & Japan Cup History.
    It’s fun not only for children, but also for parents who once loved Mini 4WD!
