Hamanako Auberge Quatre Saisons

This was my first visit. I came mainly for the food, but the Room was impeccably clean and the amenities were stylish—overall, it was a very satisfying trip. Every dish was delicious and exceeded my expectations, and everyone was so kind; the service quality was excellent. Since I don’t eat much, I only had one alcoholic drink at dinner, but it looked like others were enjoying the pairing menu, so I’d love to try it next time. In the morning I wanted more café au lait as well, but I was simply too full. If you’re going, I recommend arriving with your appetite ready (lol). As advice for first-time visitors: if you’re coming from the south along the lakeside, keep going with the Hotel on your upper left for a while, then turn left onto the road beside a place called Cafe Oliva. We ended up being guided by our phone map onto an extremely narrow mountain road as “the shortest route,” so hopefully this helps.

We stayed at an auberge for the first time with our young child.Thank you for your warm consideration for our child, and for preparing gently seasoned dishes such as corn soup, homemade bread, and a hamburger steak. Our child was very happy and enjoyed everything.We enjoyed the course meal and the premium pairing. Every wine paired beautifully with the food, and each one suited our tastes. Each dish was truly delicious; while gently seasoned, the portions were also generous, and we were very satisfied.The Accommodation was kept very clean, and it was a wonderful Facility—spacious enough for an auberge—with comfortable beds and even a jacuzzi. We were able to relax at a leisurely pace, and it is a Hotel we would definitely like to visit again.Because we were traveling with a small child, we may have caused some inconvenience to other guests. We sincerely apologize for that; however, all of the staff treated us warmly, and we are truly grateful.We had a comfortable time as a family, and felt it was a truly wonderful auberge. We would love to return again.
