  • The Facility is a bit old, but it was very clean and extremely comfortable. The meals were standard, but the content and portions were just right for an elderly couple; everything was delicious and we finished it all.The bath was clean with a great view. The open-air bath in particular was a cypress bath with an excellent view, and it was wonderful. If we have the opportunity, we would definitely like to stay again.

  • Thank you so much for your warm hospitality despite the sudden cancellation of two members due to unforeseen circumstances. The monkfish hot pot was incredibly delicious, and the steak was exquisite. The flowers I brought home are now placed next to my late mother's portrait as a tribute to her. Although the large cake was slightly salty, I enjoyed it all by myself. I look forward to visiting again with cheerful friends next time. This trip, though meant for healing, truly warmed my heart. Thank you very much!

There is only one, yet it is called Two Islands.

Guests often ask us, "Why is it called Futatsushima when there is only one island?" In fact, Futatsushima used to consist of two islands. However, due to the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, the seabed subsided, and the second island became submerged. Even now, during low tide and calm waves, the second island can sometimes be seen. Please visit Futatsushima Hotel and explore the island.
