  • Convenient for sightseeing at Toshogu Shrine

    I chose this Accommodation for its convenient access to Toshogu Shrine.Perhaps because many international guests stay here in large groups, the Room was spacious and comfortable.I was also happy that I managed to have the large public bath all to myself at just the right time.Breakfast was refreshingly different—you can choose from four kinds of grilled fish (I think), and there were plenty of dishes, so I was satisfied.If I had to mention a couple of concerns: the bath towel had a smell I didn’t like, and there was a long list of guests’ surnames displayed at the entrance.Considering that someone could take a photo and post it on social media for the whole world to see,it didn’t feel comfortable having names written where all guests could see them. (Maybe I’m just overly sensitive about it…)

  • Great accommodation!

    Great accommodation! In addition to its excellent location right in front of Toshogu Shrine, the meals were plentiful and delicious, and I could relax in the bath. On the departure day, they kindly allowed us to leave our car while we went sightseeing, which was incredibly helpful! If I ever visit Nikko again, I would definitely stay here.

Part One

Long, long ago, there was a small Property. The owner, Daikichi, drank heavily and didn’t work, leaving the Property in ruins. One day, Daikichi had a dream about the secret to running a prosperous Property. Taught by a crane and a turtle, it is now Nikko’s Lucky Property!

The second one

Nine years have passed since then. This property, filled with auspiciousness, has been loved by many and has now become a popular and celebrated property. The owner, Daikichi, has aged and is no longer mobile, so his son, Shokichi, works tirelessly. One day, Shokichi had a dream. Four guests arrived and said, "My wish is to become wealthy," "My wish is to achieve success," "My wish is to live long," "My wish is simply to be happy. If this place brings good fortune, I want to stay." Thus, Shokichi thought and decided to create rooms that fulfill the guests' wishes, aiming to make the property even more auspicious.
