I stayed for two nights. Perhaps because it is close to the sea, the fish was more delicious than at any other accommodation I have stayed at before. Whether sashimi, grilled, simmered, or fried, every dish had an amazing taste. The staff, including the hostess, were very pleasant and made my stay extremely comfortable. Thank you very much.
浮間 10/14/2025I was interested in Mikata Goko, but since I couldn't get around without a car, I decided to stay here. I appreciated the Shuttle Service that matched the train schedule. Based on Reviews, I was looking forward to the meals, and they were classic yet perfectly executed—simply amazing. I got to enjoy almost everything I'd wanted to try in Fukui. A paradise for fish lovers—and for sake enthusiasts too! The meals here were so satisfying that I regret not being able to try the squid rice bowl at "Drive-in Yoshida" nearby. It was also the perfect time for plum blossoms, and perhaps because it was off-season, it was quiet and relaxing with few people around.

Here lies "Kojokan PAMCO," an accommodation that transcends boundaries—neither a ryokan, hotel, guesthouse, nor pension. "PAMCO" stands for "Passionate Movement for Communication." With passion and vitality, we aim to connect the hearts of visitors to this land with those who live here in Wakasa through its rich natural surroundings. In 2000, we transformed our family-run ryokan "Kojokan," which had been lovingly operated by our parents for nearly 30 years. While we may not offer luxurious facilities or grandeur accommodations, we take pride in the deep embrace of nature unique to Wakasa. Step out from our accommodation and freely immerse yourself in the sea, mountains, and lakes as you wish. Nature Experience Program "Asobo-ya" Produced by Lakefront Inn PAMCO
The owner of Accommodation Pamco, Kazuhiko Tanabe, has another initiative called "Asoboya." This activity program was created with the desire for guests not only to stay at the accommodation but also to fully enjoy the magnificent nature of Wakasa Mikata Goko.
Our original craft beer brewed on-site at Pamco.
Our craft beer reaches its perfect form the moment it is poured from the restaurant's server. Since it is not available in bottles or cans, only guests visiting Pamco can indulge in this exclusive and luxurious flavor.
The Rooms are available in two types: simple Japanese-style and Western-style. You can relax in a calm atmosphere.
Amadai, flounder, mackerel, Fukui plums, freshly picked vegetables, rice... Wakasa is blessed with rich soil from both the sea and mountains, making it a treasure trove of ingredients. Our dishes prepared with freshly harvested seasonal ingredients are our pride and joy.
