  • I was a bit worried ...

    I was a bit worried after reading the Reviews, but it turned out to be a great value Hotel. The building is old, but it was well cleaned, and the view from the window was nice. In the lounge, you can enjoy coffee and house wine, and dinner was a set course meal. It’s simple French cuisine, but I felt it was very reasonably priced to have meals included at this rate (it may have been an especially good Plan by chance). Since I stayed for work, this Hotel offered excellent satisfaction for the price.Of course, I wouldn’t really recommend it to those looking for a luxury Hotel, but I highly recommend it for groups of friends or families who want a good-value stay. I’d love to stay again.

  • Affordable

    As this was a last-minute trip to Karuizawa, we were looking for an affordable Hotel.We were glad we could stay at a reasonable price even in Karuizawa.The building shows its age, but the room was kept clean and we had no issues during our stay. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and towels and trash were collected without any additional charge.We used a twin room, and it felt spacious with a sofa, two chairs, and a table in addition to the beds.The Onsen had only one large public bath, but it was relaxing.Most of the staff were friendly as well.We would like to stay here again when we visit Karuizawa.It’s reasonably priced, so I recommend it for anyone looking to keep costs down.
