A welcoming Accommodation offering panoramic views of Mt. Ishizuchi, the highest peak in Western Japan, and the stunning multi-island scenery floating on the Hiuchi-nada Sea.

Proudly set between the Ishizuchi Mountain Range—the highest peaks in Western Japan—and the stunning island-dotted scenery of the Seto Inland Sea, this Onsen Accommodation offers ocean views from every room and Wi‑Fi access throughout. The large public bath is an Onsen, featuring “Hiuchinada Onsen,” supplied from Motodani Onsen, one of the three famous Iyo hot springs. *The Iyo Three Hot Springs (Dogo Onsen/Matsuyama and Nibukawa Onsen/Imabari) are known for their high-quality waters and are also loved as “beauty baths.” Dining features a buffet prepared with heartfelt hospitality by our head chef from Ehime, using carefully selected local ingredients. Enjoy around 50 dishes, including fresh Ehime sea bream from one of Japan’s leading aquaculture regions, the Ehime brand “Hime Suma,” assorted sashimi and nigiri sushi made with fresh seafood, teppanyaki beef, and local vegetables grown in a mild climate with spring water from Mt. Ishizuchi. Be sure to try desserts unique to Japan’s citrus kingdom as well.

  • The sashimi platter was served from the start, and there was an excellent selection of Ehime’s local dishes—everything was delicious. They also offered sake tasting samples, and the two friends I invited were very happy as well.As with Okunoshima where I stayed recently, Kyukamura doesn’t provide lots of towels like a Hotel: one bath towel per person, plus one brand-new Kyukamura face towel per person (in a bag). There was also one face towel in the washroom. Even hand towels would be fine, but it would be helpful to have three in the washroom for our group; I can accept not having spare bath towels.

  • Three of us stayed in a Japanese-style room. The meals were about what we expected for the price, and the service was excellent, so we enjoyed dining there. If we plan another trip to Shikoku, we will definitely stay at this Accommodation again.
