Introduction of the Accommodation

Lobby
How can I help people to "relax"? I always think about that.

Having been in this business for a long time, I have always wondered, "Are our guests truly able to relax during their stay?" A while back, during the economic boom in Japan, we had the pleasure of hosting many corporate groups for company retreats. It was a time when groups of 20 or 30 people would visit us one after another, often at high rates. Then came the Okuhida boom. During this period as well, we welcomed many guests. Watching them leave after their busy stays, I often wondered, "Were they truly satisfied with their experience?" Eventually, the trend shifted toward individual travelers. It seemed that more and more guests were seeking to "spend their time leisurely." This only deepened my question: "Are they really able to relax and unwind here?" So, I began thinking about how we could help our guests truly relax and started implementing various ideas: - We created private family baths. - Check-in was set at 2:00 PM, and check-out at 11:00 AM. - Our hospitality approach was adjusted to maintain a comfortable distance, ensuring we wouldn't intrude on our guests' relaxation. Gradually, we started hearing guests say, "I was able to relax." For us, this is the highest compliment we could receive. Since then, we have continued to gather feedback and opinions, constantly improving to ensure our guests can enjoy an even more relaxing and leisurely stay.

Onsen and bath
Onsen and bath

We offer a large public bath and private family baths. All our baths use natural Onsen water, and the water temperature is not regulated, providing a natural water temperature experience. Enjoy the unique water temperature of natural Onsen, which may be slightly cool or slightly warm. (For a comfortable bathing experience, we may perform minimal water temperature adjustments or water additions.)

Meal
Meal

To enjoy the flavors of Hida and the mountains, we use 'local ingredients' such as mountain vegetables, fresh produce, river fish, and Hida beef. Especially, the mountain vegetables are personally foraged by the head chef. In spring, we use freshly picked mountain vegetables, and in early summer, we feature ayu fish, emphasizing the seasonal aromas.
