The spacious indoor bath is the largest in Omachi Onsenkyo, and together with the open-air bath, is available until midnight—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Onsen at your leisure. The only dinner buffet in Omachi Onsenkyo offers around 70 Japanese and Western dishes, including many specialties unique to Shinshu. With easy access to scenic spots and skiing year-round, plus free Wi-Fi in all guest rooms, it’s an added bonus.
I made a Reservation because I wanted to go snowboarding. The free Shuttle Service to several ski resorts was very convenient. The Onsen and Room were clean, and the meals were luxurious with all-you-can-drink alcohol. The price of around 10,000 yen is an incredible deal. It truly turned into an enjoyable trip. Staying at this Hotel makes you not want to stay at any other Hotel. Thank you very much!

However, at the dining area, some intoxicated guests from China were speaking loudly and burping without restraint. In the Onsen, children from the same group splashed around in the bath while their guardians failed to intervene or correct their behavior, which highlighted noticeable breaches of etiquette. To ensure repeat visits from Japanese guests, addressing these issues is essential. While it is understandable that there are many international travelers due to inbound tourism, it might be beneficial to provide more thorough explanations about Japanese manners during check-in.
