The check-in process was easy to understand, and the warm, welcoming service left a great impression. The building is old and full of history, and while there were a few minor inconveniences, it had wonderful charm—an Hotel I really grew to love. The location was excellent, and I enjoyed a morning walk. The valet parking was also very helpful. I had breakfast as well; they’ve adopted some modern-style systems like newer hotels, the food itself was delicious, and it made me genuinely happy to see even the older staff working energetically. Also, I was thrilled to find that the washbasin in the first-floor restroom was made of Arita ware. It felt like an Hotel that brings together the best parts of Japanese Accommodation—truly wonderful.

The Ryokan's hospitality was very courteous, and we had a pleasant stay with the Room guidance and meal service. The dinner kaiseki cuisine had a wide variety and was very satisfying, while the breakfast rice ball corner was excellent. We would definitely like to visit again.

The Dream Mansion of Serenity Tosa Gyoen
Tosa Gyoen has been in operation since 1964. Throughout the Facility, you will find butterflies, beloved by the proprietress, fluttering here and there. The Facility features a Shigaraki ware open-air bath, a restaurant "Hana Chouan" where you can enjoy local Kochi cuisine and seasonal kaiseki dishes, and the "Tataki Workshop," where you can watch the grilling, slicing, and plating of bonito tataki right before your eyes. In 2014, we celebrated our 50th anniversary since establishment and continue to strive to provide even more satisfying services with a spirit of hospitality.

Our facility offers two types of Room: "Traditional Japanese Room" and "Modern Japanese Room." We have prepared a variety of Rooms for you to choose from based on your travel purpose and preferences.
