The closest accommodation to Tsukubasan Shrine. Enjoy the unique views of Edoya from every room. An open-air bath facing a garden that preserves untouched nature. Relax in the renowned hot springs embraced by the foothills of Mount Tsukuba, while experiencing the charm of each season.

  • A wonderful Accommodation. The open-air bath. The greatest pleasure, surrounded by vibrant fresh greenery with a rustic charm. The scenery, the atmosphere, the breath of nature—I've never experienced an Onsen like this. The view of lush fresh greenery through the large glass windows in the lobby is truly stunning. People enjoy the footbath there, and when you look down you can see the river flowing below—the sound of the water adds to the charm.Calm, soothing corridors.Even the single Room has a modern design, and on the desk there was a welcome treat of three kinds of sweets. There was even original chocolate in the refrigerator!I could only admire how beautifully presented dinner was.The portions were just right—not too much, not too little—and I enjoyed both fish and meat together with delicious white rice.

  • This is an Onsen Accommodation located halfway up Mt. Tsukuba. The Room had large windows and felt very open, but the view from our Room was not great. Tsukuba Shrine is a 10-minute walk away, and beyond it is the cable car station, making sightseeing convenient. There is one large public bath and one open-air bath, but the views were not great. There is an observation terrace, and from there we could enjoy a panoramic view of the Kanto Plain, which was wonderful. All of the meals were delicious and we were very satisfied. Since the building is old, there are many small steps, and the women’s bath is on basement level 2 and can only be reached by stairs, so it may be a bit tough for elderly guests. The staff were very kind and attentive, and we had a comfortable stay.
