About the origin of the name

"Rokumyō" is pronounced as "rokumyō." "Roku" refers to the six senses in Buddhism: "eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind." Here, "mind" signifies the heart. It means experiencing nature with one's entire being, accepting it as it is. "Myō" signifies mysterious, absolute, unparalleled, and indescribable. It reflects our desire to guide you to an indescribably wonderful "place" with all our heart and soul.

The Onsen at our Ryokan features an alkaline simple hot spring. It is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and gentle on the skin, making it suitable for all ages, from infants to seniors. Despite being termed 'simple,' it often contains a variety of components that provide benefits such as relief from neuralgia, rheumatism, muscle pain, shoulder stiffness, back pain, and joint pain. Due to its alkalinity, the water feels slippery, acting like soap and offering potential skin beautifying effects.
