Ishikage Daiichi Hotel Kamukura

I stayed here after visiting Ise Shrine.A typhoon was approaching and it was raining, but it was disappointing that, due to the building’s layout, I couldn’t pull my car up right next to the entrance.Because of the typhoon, there were strong winds and heavy rain all night, and the window design made the whistling wind and rain noise noticeable.The Room felt a bit dated, but the bath was very clean and comfortable,and the staff were friendly and kind, which made up for the tough beef and dried-out yellowtail at dinner.If it hadn’t been priced for Silver Week, it would have been a perfect 100 out of 100.

We stayed in the Yunagi Room this time! The Room was beautiful and spotless, with a great sense of cleanliness. It also had a private bath, and the view was amazing! Meals were served in a private dining room, featuring sea bream, abalone, spiny lobster, and Matsusaka beef—far too luxurious for me—and we enjoyed a delicious and wonderful time. The hospitality from the experienced attendant during meals was truly outstanding. The front desk staff were also flexible and made our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.
