In addition to the cuisine, our astronomy events—featuring a dedicated storyteller who explains the Ise-Shima sky—are also very popular. With a natural Onsen, this Hotel is perfect for fully enjoying Kashikojima.

  • We stayed as a family of three. We had an elderly family member with us, and we sincerely appreciate the staff’s thoughtful care. The meals were delicious, just as other Reviews mentioned, and even my mother—whose appetite has decreased—was able to take her time and finish almost everything. The bath, including the handrails by the tub, was easy for an elderly person to use. When we visit Ise again, we would love to stay here.

  • An auberge in Ise-Shima. Both the facilities and pricing are casual, but the dining is exceptionally satisfying. Accommodation and meals here are often expensive, but this place is a great value at around JPY 20,000 per person for one night with two meals. The restaurant has high ceilings and large glass windows, creating a bright, open atmosphere. At night the lighting is slightly subdued, making the ambience even better. As expected in Ise-Shima—known as “Miketsukuni,” the land of fine food—plenty of local ingredients are used. We thoroughly enjoyed abalone, Kumano beef, and spiny lobster and were very satisfied. The cuisine feels like creative fusion combining Japanese and Western styles. The presentation was as delicious to look at as it was to eat. In particular, the pairing of tender, fragrant eel with springy abalone—accented by sansho pepper—was outstanding and truly unique to Ise-Shima.Shima conger eel (hamo) and grilled eggplant with doburoku miso and ginger sauceWild softshell turtle Japanese medicinal soupLocal fish salad-style dishAbalone and eel grilled with sansho pepper; kinome miso and sansho olive oilCharcoal-grilled Mikumano beef with tomato-and-shiso condimentCorn rice; miso soup with spiny lobster brothPistachio mousse and mango sorbet

Introduction of the Accommodation

Happy Breakfast Bread
Happy Breakfast Bread

“Breakfast Bread You’ll Want to Eat Every Day” Because it’s bread you eat every morning, we set out to create a familiar, well-loved flavor for everyone. With that in mind, development of our “Shiawase Breakfast Bread” began. In Japan, the staple food people have long been accustomed to is rice. We aimed for a pleasantly chewy texture—like freshly cooked rice—that you never tire of even when eaten every day, and a taste that grows sweeter and more savory with every bite. That concept gave birth to “Shiawase Breakfast Bread.”
