Established during the opening of Kamiyamada Onsen, this property boasts a history of over 110 years. It features a natural onsen with abundant water flow exceeding 400 tons per day. Guests can enjoy Shinshu Kaiseki cuisine, emphasizing locally sourced ingredients.
The Onsen and meals were excellent.The private bath was also great.It was very quiet and relaxing.I would like to stay again if I have the chance.
TEZUBOO 7/3/2026Thank you for providing Shuttle Service not only from Togura Station but also for the return trip, and for upgrading our Room.Since this Hotel is part of the same group as “Ryotei Takano,” where we stayed before, our expectations were high, so the meals did not feel particularly special.We noticed efforts to balance cost savings with improved service—such as complimentary coffee being available only at dinner and guests serving rice into the ohitsu themselves—but looking back, overall it felt like a Hotel with very good value for money.Although we were slightly bothered by noise from other rooms, the Room was kept very clean, the air purifier was running, and the temperature of the large public bath was just right.Togura Kamiyamada Onsen is said to have been a thriving entertainment district about 50 years ago, but today it offers nostalgic Showa-era streetscapes and scenery.We truly hope it continues to grow and thrive.
