Introduction of the Accommodation

Exterior
The building of Momine En is a luxurious space showcasing the bold yet delicate craftsmanship of skilled artisans. Enjoy a stay that feels like stepping back in time, filled with traditional charm. In 2003, it received the Special Award in Japan's Top 100 Hotels and Ryokans and was also recognized as an Onsen Heritage site. The facility also features exhibits of valuable historical materials.

Rooms preserved as they were when completed in 1917 allow you to experience historical art through furnishings and carved transoms. Enjoy a relaxing moment as your heart is filled with the view from the window.

We offer a variety of dishes featuring seasonal local ingredients, including our specialty river crab cuisine. All rice used is exclusively Akita Komachi (specially cultivated rice from Nishisenboku). Enjoy the nostalgic flavors of our region.

Open-Air Bath: Daiki no Yu
The on-site hot spring, "Momineen no Yu," naturally flows at a temperature of 49°C with an output of over 240 liters per minute. All our baths use this pure hot spring water in a free-flowing manner. Enjoy the rustic charm of the open-air bath or the soothing aroma of cypress in our large communal bath.
