Rakuzan Yasuda: A Tatami-Floored Inn Adorned with Kimonos

I wanted to enjoy the Onsen anytime in my Room, so this time I made a Reservation for a Room with a hinoki bath Onsen. Since I prefer hotter water, they kindly raised the temperature of the in-room bath for me. The water is an alkaline simple Onsen, and its gentle feel blended smoothly with my skin—after bathing, my skin felt silky and smooth. Truly worthy of being called “beauty-enhancing waters.” The meals were excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Each dish was carefully prepared with extra attention and clearly well thought out. The portions were just right, and I was very satisfied. There were several international staff members as well, but their hospitality was outstanding, and it was clear they are well trained. It had been quite a long time since I last stayed in Izunagaoka Onsen, but this is an Accommodation I’d like to visit again soon. Thank you very much.

The dishes, filled with the chef’s passion, were absolutely delicious! I have stayed at many Ryokan, but this one truly moved me. For the lobby’s complimentary drinks, I felt it would be even better if an automated machine were introduced so guests could enjoy them freely for longer hours. The male staff at the front desk during check-in were very helpful, and I felt at ease throughout my stay. I will definitely return soon. One unique feature is that the entire building is covered with tatami flooring; aside from a few stair areas, I was completely satisfied. If I had to ask for one more thing, it would be perfect if bath towels were available for guests to use freely.
