Thank you very much for your continued patronage. At Hachimantai Heights, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we place the health and safety of our guests and employees first. To ensure you can stay with peace of mind, we have implemented the following measures. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation. [Front Desk / Rooms / Staff] ■ Alcohol-based disinfectant is available throughout the Accommodation. ■ Alcohol-based disinfectant is provided in all guest Rooms. ■ Gargle solution is provided in all guest Rooms. ■ Staff wear masks while providing service within the Accommodation. ■ All guests are asked to undergo a temperature check at check-in and confirm their recent overseas travel history. ■ If a temperature of 37.5°C or higher is detected, we may ask you to refrain from staying in accordance with instructions from public health authorities. ■ We ask all staying guests to wear masks. ■ Droplet-prevention shields are installed at the front desk, shop counter, restaurant counter, etc. ■ Ventilation throughout the Accommodation is enhanced regularly. ■ Common areas throughout the Accommodation (including guest Rooms and shared spaces such as elevators) are regularly disinfected with alcohol and wiped down. ■ Thorough health and hygiene management for staff (Temperature checks before coming to work are recorded; anyone with a temperature of 37.5°C or higher will not be allowed to work and will follow a doctor’s guidance.) ■ Regular handwashing and hand sanitizing are carried out. [Restaurant] ■ Guests are asked to sanitize their hands with alcohol upon entering the restaurant. ■ We encourage distancing at entry points and have placed floor stickers to prevent crowding. ■ Measures such as limiting entry are implemented to reduce congestion. ■ We request mask-wearing except when eating or drinking, with reminders provided as needed. ■ The number of tables/seats has been reduced and seating has been rearranged to increase spacing between guests. ■ Droplet-prevention shields are installed at counters such as the restaurant counter. ■ Ventilation throughout the Accommodation is enhanced regularly. ■ Breakfast will be served either as a Japanese set meal or buffet-style depending on occupancy. (When served buffet-style, bento boxes are available so you may take your meal back to your Room.) ■ Disposable vinyl gloves will be distributed by staff at the entrance. By wearing them at all times, guests can enjoy our buffet-style meals safely and comfortably. ■■ Serving tongs will be replaced promptly, thoroughly sanitized, washed, and managed appropriately.
