Introduction of the Accommodation

We strive to provide warm hospitality so that you can spend precious time with your loved ones. Enjoy a leisurely moment in our facility, featuring a classic pool bar, a wood-burning stove, and a grand piano. Relax in the private open-air rock bath surrounded by bamboo groves, where you can feel the night breeze and gaze at the starry sky while enjoying a mandarin orange bath. Our expansive 3,500-tsubo property offers a sense of privacy, making it a discreet retreat for famous singers and actors. We will continue to dedicate ourselves to providing a tranquil space for all our guests. If you have any requests, please feel free to let us know.

Around May, the white blossoms of mandarin orange trees fill the garden with their fragrance. From winter to early summer, they bear various types of fruit. These citrus fruits are transformed into salads, jams, juices, ponzu sauce, sorbets, and more by the hands of the owner and mama. Our healthy dishes, featuring local vegetables, fresh local fish, and seasonal ingredients, are accompanied by homemade aperitifs. The owner-chef, who has experience living in the United States, once served as a head chef at a Japanese dining establishment in Miami. Having encountered a variety of international ingredients and flavors in America, the owner rediscovered the essence of Japanese cuisine. With a touch of playfulness and heartfelt preparation, we offer dishes that reflect this experience. At our speakeasy, we welcome guests with a complimentary drink upon arrival. Please take your time to enjoy it alongside our homemade sweets.

Owner's dedicated facility
Speakeasy is a log house constructed over five and a half years by the owner, utilizing a unique method combining the traditional Post & Beam technique with log house technology. The interior, enveloped by the excellent insulation and heat retention properties of wood, exudes a woody aroma, with a large central tree welcoming all guests.

The cat staff patrols around the Speakeasy, helps relieve travel fatigue, and welcomes guests. After the hospitality, please use the cat hair removal set.

Room
A private space with only 4 rooms. At Speakeasy, we value our guests' privacy.

The stone-built private open-air bath is not an Onsen, but it offers an environment rich in nature where you can also enjoy a 'citrus bath.'

This is a dish that is gentle on both the heart and body, born from the owner's desire to offer customers the most delicious cuisine.
