    I travel out many times throughout the year.I was truly won over by how delicious the food was here.The rice was cooked perfectly! Ayu sashimi (my first time), salt-grilled ayu (the seasoning, grilling, and timing of service), and even the soup—everything was flawless. From now on, your salt-grilled ayu will likely be my benchmark for taste.This may sound presumptuous, but I believe it’s simple dishes that really show a chef’s skill.The yukata in the Room were crisp and nicely starched, so even someone like me who doesn’t usually like yukata could wear it comfortably. I also appreciated the detox water after bathing.

    I truly enjoyed the rare culinary experience—game meat, river fish, a variety of homemade dishes, herbal liqueurs, and more—things you simply can’t taste at home.The unpretentious, rustic atmosphere was also wonderful.I even bought some of the incredibly delicious rice as a souvenir, and I’m still savoring the memories after returning home.

Tohoku/Hokkaido Shinkansen to Utsunomiya Station → JR Tohoku Main Line to Ujiie Station →
From the East Exit bus stop at Ujiie Station, take a Tobu Bus bound for Bato → get off at “Michi-no-Eki Bato.”


If you would like Shuttle Service to/from the “Michi-no-Eki Bato” bus stop, please make a Reservation in advance.
