This was our first stay here on a trip with four friends. The Room, the meals, and above all the service from all staff were outstanding. Every staff member was courteous and kind, and we truly felt first-class hospitality—worthy of a five-star Accommodation.Thanks to you, we were able to relax throughout our stay and enjoy a special time. The clean and comfortable Room, the wide variety of delicious and thoughtfully prepared buffet dishes, and the wonderful Onsen—all exceeded our expectations. Everyone in our group was very satisfied with this trip. When we visit Kusatsu again, we would definitely like to stay at Hotel Ichii again.

The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. The breakfast smoothies and rice balls were especially popular with our family. It was our first trip to Kusatsu and we weren’t sure which Accommodation to choose, but we’re truly glad we chose this one.

From the third-floor lobby to the first floor and out through the exit, you will find Yubatake spreading out before your eyes, with its enchanting sulfur aroma and rising steam creating a magical atmosphere.
If you are not out for business or other activities, our renowned hostess will personally welcome and see you off. She may also make a surprise appearance during dinner to greet guests. During the day after check-out, she arranges seasonal flowers throughout the property, making it a delight to explore our spacious premises. Why not come and meet our famous hostess?
Open-air Bath "Sekitei": A Japanese-style garden-inspired open-air bath.
Our open-air Onsen features a hexagonal roof in a gazebo style, surrounded by a quaint garden-like setting. The source of the water is the "Bandai-Ko Spring," known as the hottest, most acidic, and mineral-rich spring in Kusatsu Onsen. Due to its extremely high temperature at the time of emergence, hydrogen sulfide gas cannot dissolve into the water, making it a rare type of Kusatsu Onsen with no sulfur scent.
Hotel Ichii features two buildings: the Main Building and the Annex. The Main Building is located right in front of Kusatsu Onsen's symbol, "Yubatake." Only 20 rooms in the Main Building offer views of Yubatake, making them highly sought after. The Annex houses a large public bath, an open-air bath, and a buffet dining area.
Hotel Ichii offers two types of dinner options: a buffet based on the concept of "Enjoying Special Days" and a Japanese course meal served in the serene Taisho Romantic-style space, "Kimi no Roman."
