  • A Relaxing Getaway

    This was my first time visiting Togura Kamiyamada Onsen. The proprietress kindly showed me to my Room, and I was already in relaxation mode after being served delicious pickles and tea. The Onsen is 100% natural hot spring water, free-flowing directly from the source, available 24 hours a day. It was wonderfully smooth with a gentle sulfur scent, and I enjoyed it many times—after arrival, at night, and again in the morning. And then the meal I had been looking forward to! Every dish was carefully prepared and truly delicious. I also tried the seasonal strawberry liqueur; it wasn’t overly sweet, and the fresh strawberry aroma was so refreshing and delightful. The proprietress served me with a warm smile, and our small conversations were really enjoyable—although I was traveling alone, I had a wonderful time dining. I also appreciated being able to relax over my meal in the newly renovated private dining room. This was my first visit to Togura Kamiyamada Onsen, but both the hot spring water and the food were outstanding, and I would love to return in another season. Thank you very much.

  • We had a relaxing stay.

    It was a wonderful Ryokan.I loved the Onsen water quality, and I was able to relax completely in the open-air bath on the rooftop. The meals were also very delicious. You could really feel the chef’s care in each carefully prepared dish; I hope the rice served will be of a standard that matches it. I couldn’t say it was at its best, so I think it could be improved further by adjusting how it’s kept warm, for example.It was an excellent Accommodation.

Our Property was established in 1903, and we have been welcoming guests with warm hospitality that remains unchanged since then. "Shinshu Togura Kamiyamada Onsen Ogihara-kan" opened in the same year as the opening of Togura Kamiyamada Onsen in 1903. The Onsen features a free-flowing hot spring called "Bihaku no Yu," known for its various benefits, including enhancing beautiful skin. As a Property dedicated to "Omotenashi" (hospitality), each of our staff members strives to provide attentive service, ensuring that our guests can enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay.
