Experience the fusion of Japanese culture and Onsen culture with a 100-tatami mat bath and savor ingredients from Hida.
Gero Onsen has long been known as the "beauty water," gentle on the skin and leaving it silky smooth like silk. The 100-tatami mat bath space offers the beauty, gentleness, relaxation, and tranquility of "tatami culture."
I stayed at Ogawaya for two nights, and dinner was excellent on both days. The second night in particular made me very happy with its full Hida beef course.Breakfast also offers a wide variety of dishes and is delicious. There are many staff members from Southeast Asia, and most of them provide warm hospitality with sincere effort and a smile. The Room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The welcome sweet, blueberry daifuku, was also delicious! It would be even better if the skincare amenities were a bit higher quality.Thank you very much.
パウ子 6/6/2026We made a Reservation for our anniversary at [TOHERICO], a Room with an Onsen. The Room was surprisingly spacious, Western-style, and very clean.Although it is not on the riverside and there is no view from the Room, you can enjoy the scenery from the lobby, so it was not an issue. Both the in-room Onsen and the large public bath were excellent, and we would like to stay again for our next anniversary.

Introduction of the Accommodation

Majestic mountains, the murmur of streams - The four seasons of Hida.
From the lobby and riverside rooms, you can experience the grandeur of the Hida Mountain Range and the gentle murmur of the clear Hida River, enveloping you in a serene and tranquil atmosphere.
In spring, cherry blossoms; in summer, fireworks; in autumn, crimson clouds; and in winter, snowy landscapes. The time spent gently raising the nostalgic snow-viewing shoji is exceptional. Enjoy elegant moments amidst meticulous hospitality and the traditional beauty of Hida.

To ensure peace of mind, safety, and deliciousness, we have carefully selected the supply route for Hida beef and prepared only the highest quality Hida beef.

The beautiful view of the Hida River from the open-air bath enhances the hot spring ambiance throughout the seasons.

Passing through the entrance, you arrive at the lobby and front desk, along with a floating stage. The Japanese-style design evokes a sense of relaxation through the concept of "space."
