    The Onsen is wonderful.The food is also delicious,and the staff’s smiles are truly soothing.This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again, even after this year’s holiday periods.I sincerely hope you will reconsider and find a way—whatever form it takes—to continue operating as “Hotel Hotaka.”

  • A Year Since Our Last Visit to Hotaka

    I stayed here again after a year for an autumn foliage walk in Hida Hotaka. The twin room was well-cleaned, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing for a pleasant stay. Dinner was kaiseki cuisine, and the staff kindly interacted with us during the meal. My wife and our two mascots (plush toys) were delighted and enjoyed the delicious food. The bath facilities included a large public bath and an open-air bath, both of which provided a relaxing experience. On the second day, when the weather cleared up, we took the ropeway next to the Hotel and enjoyed breathtaking views of the snow-capped Hotaka mountain range.It seems that operations will end in May next year; however, I hope for an early reopening. Thank you, Hotel Hotaka!
