The Mizubasho Onsen, abundant in natural spring water. The silky smooth water is a colorless, transparent, mildly alkaline simple hot spring. After a relaxing soak, it is reputed to leave your skin moist and radiant, earning the title of 'beauty-enhancing water.' It is also said to warm the body thoroughly and prevent post-bath chills.

Corridor to the open-air bath — Mizubasho no Yu
The mountain's underground water (Onsen) contains numerous nutrients. Nutrients from trees, flowers, forests, and lakes are carried by rain, eventually flowing underground where the water is heated, forming an Onsen.

Himebashou Hot Spring

The indoor bath, renowned as "Hot Water Beauty," is praised for its effects. During bathing, the water glides smoothly over the skin, and after bathing, it leaves the skin moisturized. Open 24 hours (gender-specific alternating schedule).

Mizubashou Hot Spring

A colorless, transparent, mildly alkaline simple Onsen (alkaline hypotonic Onsen). The abundant water flow of 55 liters per minute is attractive. Open for bathing 24 hours (gender rotation system).

A warm accommodation with a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere
It was a truly heartwarming stay. The meals made with locally sourced ingredients were all incredibly delicious. The allergy accommodations we discussed during the reservation process were handled perfectly, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time. Although it is a historic accommodation, the room and bath were meticulously maintained, clean, and comfortable. Above all, the staff's warm smiles and thoughtful hospitality provided an authentic Japanese experience. The pricing was so reasonable that it almost felt too good to be true. I would love to visit again in another season. Thank you very much!
