A stunning seaside property with jazz music, overlooking "Futamiura," one of Japan's 100 best beaches.
A Ryokan located in front of Futamiura, selected as one of Japan's 100 best beaches. Enjoy Japan's 100 best beaches in the Japanese modern lobby with jazz BGM. Additionally, dinner features the rich and fresh seafood of Ise Bay, reflecting the seasons.
Choosing this Accommodation for a visit to Futami Okitama Shrine was the right decision. The shrine is only a 7–8 minute leisurely walk along the seaside, so I was able to visit twice during my stay. Dinner was very satisfying in both menu and portion size. Since it was served in a private room, I felt completely relaxed. Breakfast was also excellent, especially the overnight-dried pufferfish. From the Room, I enjoyed a wonderful view of the sea stretching out beyond the pine trees. It is a lovely Accommodation founded in the Meiji era and still continuing into the Reiwa era. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
aichaku 4/18/2026I stayed at Hamachiyokan during my visit to Ise Shrine and Meoto Iwa. They kindly picked me up from the Futamiura bus stop and even dropped me off at the station on my way back, offering very flexible and thoughtful service. Meoto Iwa is within walking distance, and the sunrise I saw early in the morning was truly breathtaking. The staff at the ryokan warmly welcomed us with constant smiles, providing a comfortable and pleasant hospitality experience. The room had a slightly old-fashioned charm but was well-maintained and clean, allowing for a comfortable stay. The large public bath was also convenient for relaxing after a day of travel. What stood out most was the dinner, which exceeded expectations with its generous portions. From abalone teppanyaki to Ise lobster and premium meat, every dish featured luxurious ingredients that left me completely satisfied. This accommodation is highly recommended for those looking to enjoy sightseeing in Ise along with delicious meals!

Introduction of the Accommodation

Since ancient times, the Misogi beach has purified the minds and bodies of those visiting Ise Jingu. Situated before the scenic beauty of Futamiura, our establishment is a traditional Ryokan with the current owner being the fourth generation. We aspire to continue evolving our inn as a treasure box filled with our heartfelt intentions. Please enjoy a blissful and relaxing stay.

Futamiura, known as the Omotesando Monzenmachi of Oise-san, was originally a place where travelers purified themselves by washing away the dirt of their journey with the clean seawater of Futami's coast before visiting Ise Jingu. The Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks) of Futamiura are regarded as the torii gate to the sacred Okutama Shinseki, which rests in the sea offshore. This site has long been known as a place to worship the sunrise, and particularly around the summer solstice, you can witness a beautiful sunrise between the two rocks. The grand shimenawa (sacred rope) connecting the male and female rocks of Meoto Iwa is replaced three times a year (on the third Sunday of May, September, and December) in a sacred ceremony conducted by the local parishioners. 【Access from the Property】7 minutes on foot

Ise-Shima is synonymous with Ise Jingu, affectionately known as "O-Ise-san." Revered as the spiritual heart of Japan, Ise Jingu boasts the nation's oldest architectural style and enshrines Amaterasu Omikami. The customary route for visiting the shrine typically begins with the Outer Shrine (Geku). In 2013, the 62nd Shikinen Sengu, Japan's largest festival held once every 20 years, was scheduled, during which the shrine buildings are reconstructed, and sacred garments and treasures are renewed to welcome the deity. [Access from the Property] 15 minutes by car

The room is prepared with comfort, embracing the openness leading to the sea and preserving the essence of Japanese tradition.

We offer dishes featuring fresh seafood that utilizes the abundant seasonal ingredients. Delivering the heartfelt "flavors" of Ise-Shima to your eyes and palate.

Rising steam, abundant hot water overflowing the bath. As you immerse yourself and stretch your limbs, a pleasant refreshing sensation spreads throughout your body.

The tranquil sea stretches before you, with seasonal breezes passing through the pine forest... Time flows gently in Futamiura. Here, you can experience the serene relaxation of Japan throughout the seasons.
