Along the Shima River, enjoy 100% natural Onsen with three abundant private sources in various bathing facilities. Savor the Satoyama Kaiseki cuisine, featuring the bountiful mountain and river delicacies of Gunma.
At check-in, we were able to make a Reservation for the private bath and choose drinks for dinner.Dinner had gentle yet well-balanced flavors and was excellent. The local craft beer was also very easy to drink.
若作りしたオッサン 4/26/2026I stayed with a friend. The onsen and the attentive care of the staff were very soothing, and the locally sourced meals were incredibly delicious. Although it was a standard grade, we were completely satisfied. Highly recommended for couples or small groups looking for a quiet stay. It was a bit disappointing that the wind in the large public bath made it slightly chilly—perhaps due to the changing seasons.

- Entry to the accommodation is available from 3:00 PM. With the paid "Early Check-in Plan," you can enter from 2:00 PM. This can be arranged during reservation or on-site (1,500 yen per person).
- The road in front of our accommodation, Toyoshimaya, is a bus route. However, near our facility, the road is narrow and parking may be difficult to locate or access.
To assist with this, staff will be stationed on the road at 3:00 PM (check-in time) to guide you safely. Please rest assured.
However, staff may need to leave temporarily to assist other guests arriving earlier. In such cases, please do not hesitate to call us at 0279-64-2134 for assistance.

At Toyoshimaya, we own three private Onsen sources, providing abundant spring water. Without adding water or circulation, the spring water is used directly, always fresh, filling all baths in the facility, including large public baths, private baths, and rooms with open-air baths. Shima Onsen is said to derive its name from its ability to cure forty thousand ailments. Please relax and enjoy.
Meal
Toshimaya Original 'Satoyama Kaiseki' primarily uses mountain delicacies, river treasures, and fresh vegetables from local farmers.
We offer various types of Rooms to suit your stay style, including Rooms with open-air Onsen by the river, Rooms with new beds, and compact twin Rooms.
