Enjoy guest rooms with open-air baths and private baths with natural hot spring water directly from the source. The annex, Irori no An, is constructed using magnificent trees said to be 300 to 1,000 years old. Immerse yourself in its unique atmosphere and savor a delightful Irori-style mountain kaiseki dinner.

Dinner at Hanashiki no Yu features our specialty, Irori Miyama Kaiseki cuisine. Enjoy the flavors of the mountain village in a nostalgic and authentic setting with a traditional irori hearth. The menu changes seasonally, offering the best of mountain and stream delicacies throughout the year. Please note that seafood is not used as a main ingredient.

Hanasiki no Yu has only 5 rooms, each uniquely designed.

Enjoy the indoor bath, private open-air bath, and guest rooms with open-air baths.

From Kan-Etsu Expressway Shibukawa Ikaho IC, take Route 145 to Naganohara, then Route 292 and 405 to Hanashiki Onsen (about 25 minutes from Kusatsu Onsen).
Tokyo:
By public transportation: Transfer at JR Agatsuma Line Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station, then take the JR bus bound for Hanashiki Onsen and get off at the final stop.
By car: Take the Kan-Etsu Expressway to Shibukawa Ikaho IC, then follow Routes 17, 353, and 145 towards Agatsuma and Kusatsu. Continue on Routes 292 and 405 towards Nozori Lake and Hanashiki.
Kansai:
By public transportation: Transfer at JR Agatsuma Line Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station, then take the JR bus bound for Hanashiki Onsen and get off at the final stop.
By car: Take the Chuo Expressway to Okaya JCT, then the Nagano Expressway to Koshoku JCT, and continue on the Joshin-Etsu Expressway towards Tokyo. Exit at Ueda-Sugadaira IC, then take Route 144 towards Naganohara, and continue on Routes 292 and 405 towards Nozori Lake and Hanashiki.
