Reception

Introduction

RISORA —RINKU— lives in harmony with the memories of this beautiful seaside town. This is neither glittering luxury nor a fleeting retreat. Together with this place, we offer a new wellness experience that awakens all your senses—including your sixth sense—and leaves a lasting afterglow. We look forward to welcoming you when the lingering heat begins to soften.

Exterior

Architecture

RISORA is thoughtfully designed to honor the “memory of the land” shaped by the culture, climate, and history that have long flowed through this place—along with wind, light, water, flora and fauna, rocks, and soil. RISORA proposes its own way of reading the environment. In this quiet town where depopulation has gradually progressed and few people dress in high fashion, local ingredients are reimagined through RISORA’s unique perspective into exquisitely vivid dishes and landscape villas. It is a new kind of retreat auberge where each element stands with quiet independence while remaining in harmony. In today’s world, we are expected to be efficient, correct, and beautiful. Before we realize it, we begin living to society’s rhythm rather than nature’s own. Guided by the memory of the land, RISORA’s architecture offers a new wellness experience that intentionally steps away from optimized rhythms. At RISORA, architecture as a building, the landscape itself, and the guest experience are designed as one. Using abundant locally sourced natural materials, these spaces gently embrace you with the memory of the land—perhaps in ways you have rarely seen elsewhere. The five villas—each with its own theme—quietly accompany your curiosity. When RISORA’s memory of place harmonizes softly with you, body and mind gradually unwind; before thought can catch up, your senses begin to awaken. Rather than something entirely new, it may feel like something you somehow knew all along—a quietly nostalgic sensation.
