On October 24, 2025, a new Accommodation, “Kotan Ureshino,” opened in the heart of the Ureshino Onsen town. “Kotan” refers to a quiet serenity that lives within elegance, and a refined, understated beauty polished over time. Of our 18 guest rooms, 8 are suites. Every room is filled with tranquility to soothe travel fatigue—enjoy a stay tailored to your occasion. For dining, we offer kaiseki cuisine featuring locally produced soybeans under the theme of “nourishing both body and mind.” Surrender yourself to the renowned Ureshino Onsen and enjoy deep relaxation and a moment of “totonoi” in our authentic iki sauna. During your stay, savor an extraordinary atmosphere in our lobby lounge themed around Kyushu tea, as well as our premium lounge exclusively for suite guests.
I’d been wanting to stay here for a long time.I was able to make a Reservation right when my summer vacation started, so I finally went.Having access to both the lounge and the premium lounge was a great bonus.The staff were wonderful, and I rarely ran into other guests, so it was quiet and truly relaxing.The Room had a semi-open-air bath, and I could soak in the Onsen as much as I wanted at any time—my skin felt so smooth. The quality of Ureshino Onsen really is exceptional!Both dinner and breakfast were delicious from start to finish.Are the tableware Arita ware? It was beautiful and added to the experience.Most of all, I was surprised by how good the tea was.It seems there are Rooms with a sauna as well, so if you love hot springs, please consider staying here—you’ll be very satisfied.They also checked in advance about allergies and any ingredients I can’t eat, which I truly appreciated.This time my Room didn’t have a sauna, but it was more than spacious enough for two people.I’d love to stay again if I have the chance.Next time, definitely a Room with a sauna!This is an Accommodation I can confidently recommend.
ミニトマ 7/25/2026Every kaiseki dish was outstanding, and the courses featuring tofu and Ureshino tea left a lasting impression.In particular, the squid sashimi enjoyed with sesame oil and the matcha hot pot were so astonishingly delicious that I was truly speechless.The property is quiet and serene throughout, and the premium lounge and beautifully curated art pieces create an extraordinary atmosphere—almost like staying in a museum.The staff’s hospitality was also attentive and thoughtful, making my first trip to Ureshino an unforgettable experience.Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We offer a course meal centered on the local specialty, Onsen yudofu, featuring seasonal ingredients. Enjoy a relaxing, blissful moment in an open, light-filled space overlooking a green lawn garden and cedar trees through the windows.

“Your own world for two in the forest.” Set within a woodland of approximately 5,500 tsubo, this retreat features just 11 detached guest rooms, a lounge, and private saunas scattered throughout the grounds. From the main house to your room, you will be escorted by cart driven by your butler.
