[New Listing in December 2025] A hot-spring Accommodation in Izumo and Tamatsukuri, surrounded by lush nature—renowned for beauty-enhancing waters and exquisite cuisine

Hotel Gyokusen, where you can feel the history and nature of Izumo, features one of the largest public baths in Tamatsukuri and an authentic Japanese garden framed by stone and black pines. At dusk, bonfires are lit in the garden, creating a magical atmosphere. In the lounge overlooking the garden, enjoy draft beer, a rotating selection of local sake, and an all-you-can-drink option with 10+ kinds of soft drinks. Renovated in 2025, our 76 Japanese-style Superior Twin rooms combine tatami flooring with beds in a setting that evokes history, tradition, and nature. The large bath “Kambe Yuden” offers “Iwa-no-Yu,” made with natural stone, and “Hinoki-no-Yu,” fragrant with cypress. In 2025, a new relaxation area was added to the open-air bath zone—perfect for enjoying the skin-beautifying hot spring waters and the garden. Savor kaiseki cuisine featuring seafood from the Sea of Japan and seasonal ingredients. Breakfast is served as a Japanese-Western buffet—an authentic taste of Shimane through food.
