A historic building in Hakodate, formerly the Russian Consulate and host to distinguished guests, has reopened as a charming historical Hotel. Originally built over 100 years ago during the Meiji era, the building has been restored and now features a newly constructed wellness wing. The spacious wellness area, inspired by temple architecture, offers an unparalleled experience. The Consulate Wing houses two suites, while the Wellness Wing offers four suites—each of the six all-suite rooms is equipped with a private sauna. On the terrace connecting both wings, a 200-year-old elm tree provides gentle shade to welcome you. For dinner featuring Hokkaido's unique gastronomy, choose between French restaurant "Main Dining Byakuya" or sushi restaurant "Funami." The design was crafted by architect Makoto Nakayama.
