  • A Hotel Perfect for Family Trips

    We stayed here for our elementary school-aged daughter’s birthday trip.She requested a buffet, so we looked for a place with a menu that both kids and adults could enjoy, and this is where we ended up. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes featuring local ingredients, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast.Not only that, but check-in and check-out were smooth, the welcome service was excellent, and the playroom—clean and well stocked with plenty of activities—was always lively with guests. The Onsen was slightly lukewarm, which was perfect for our family since we don’t like very hot baths.The staff kept a comfortable distance; there wasn’t much small talk, but whenever we asked something they responded very politely, which made our stay pleasant.The next day we took a walk through Sosenkyo Gorge right in front of the hotel. It was easy to access, and we were able to enjoy ourselves even after checking out.Thank you very much.If I had to mention one drawback, it would be that the parking lot felt small for how busy it gets; when larger cars line up, getting in and out can be difficult. It would be even more comfortable if it could be expanded or improved.

  • The meals were absolutely delicious.

    It had been renovated and was very clean and beautiful. The Room felt a bit small for five people, but considering the price, it was more than sufficient. It was very clean, and the bath was great as well. Above all, the meals were the best! Even now, I still think there were dishes I wanted to try—there were so many items, including many Ishikawa-specific specialties, and everything had a gentle flavor and tasted delicious. At both dinner and breakfast we ate until we were full, yet there were still items we couldn’t try—truly wonderful. Even though we just visited, we already want to go again. Thank you very much.

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of “Yamanaka Onsen Kajikaso.”

    At our buffet restaurant “Ryusai,” we will be holding the “Snow Crab Fair (Part 1)” from Saturday, November 7, 2026 to Thursday, December 31, 2026.
    This year’s theme is: “Winter begins with crab.”

    Following last year’s popular crab-focused buffet, we are pleased to offer an even more satisfying lineup this year.
    The highlight is our live kitchen “Snow Crab Legs,” served with pre-scored shells for easy eating.

    At the live kitchen, you can also enjoy our classic favorite: Noto Beef & Noto Pork Hamburg Steak.

    In addition, we offer a wide variety of crab dishes, including “Steamed Crab Sushi” featuring vinegared rice topped with crab meat and gently steamed until fluffy, and the all-ages favorite “Chawanmushi with Crab Sauce,”
    as well as crab cream pasta, crab cream croquettes, vinegared crab salad, and crab soup. Please savor seasonal crab to your heart’s content.

    From Tuesday, September 1 to Friday, November 6, 2026, Restaurant Ryusai will host our “Autumn Dinner Buffet,” featuring a full lineup of seasonal ingredients.

    Enjoy a wide variety of autumn flavors such as matsutake mushroom chawanmushi and chestnut rice.
    At the live kitchen, our chefs will fry large oyster cutlets right before your eyes and serve Hokuriku specialties such as gas shrimp and Kaga vegetable kakiage tempura.
    In addition, the popular “Teppan Sukiyaki” will return to the live kitchen for a limited time.

    Our well-loved “Noto Beef and Noto Pork Hamburg Steak” will be available on the buffet line in easy-to-enjoy mini portions—please help yourself to as many as you like.

    Starting Thursday, October 1, we will also launch our “Autumn Sweets Buffet.”

  • Information on a Special Performance of the Traditional Performing Art “Yamanaka-bushi”

    Our performers will be members of the Yamanaka Onsen Geigi Association, who are active at Yamanakaza, a key sightseeing hub in the Yamanaka Onsen district.
    Please enjoy to your heart’s content a performance by the inheritors of the “Seicho Yamanaka-bushi,” a traditional style established about 100 years ago.

    On the day, a special stage will be set up in the lounge on the 5th floor of our hotel. Enjoy gentle singing and dancing, along with shamisen and taiko drums, up close.

    [Shishimai (Lion Dance) Performance by the Yamanaka Youth Group]

    With the cooperation of the Yamanaka Youth Group, we will be hosting a Shishimai (lion dance) performance at our hotel.

    The Yamanaka Youth Group is dedicated to preserving and passing down this long-standing tradition in Yamanaka Onsen. They also perform at various events including the local Koikoi Festival.

    The venue will be our restaurant “Ryusai.” The lion dance will visit guests’ tables during dinner service so you can watch it up close while enjoying your meal.
    Please experience for yourself the powerful Shishimai that is deeply rooted in this area.
