The beautiful Kumiko craftsmanship and natural wood furniture stand out against the calm charcoal-gray marble floor, symbolizing our signature “Japanesque Modern” style. We also feature furniture by Tendo Mokko. Located in the Arakawa Valley of the Tsuchiyu Onsen town, our lobby, guest rooms, and open-air baths offer beautiful seasonal views of the mountain stream throughout the year.

“Kumiko” is a traditional Japanese woodworking technique in which thin wooden pieces are assembled into geometric patterns without using nails. Enjoy the light filtering through Kumiko panels handcrafted to depict Fukushima’s beautiful seasonal landscapes, along with the refreshing views of the valley. You can find them throughout the property, including the front lobby, information areas on each floor, guest rooms, and the large public bath.
