Everything exceeded our expectations in every way. The Room was spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. Every staff member was friendly and provided warm, welcoming service. The meals were delicious, and the private Onsen allowed us to relax at our own pace—it was perfect. We would love to visit again in a different season.

It was conveniently located near the old town streets and the morning market, making sightseeing easy, and everything—from the atmosphere of the Accommodation to the Room layout and the meals—was wonderful. More Accommodations seem to offer lounge access these days, but this lounge’s calm ambiance and excellent drink selection were especially appealing. When I mentioned that we were also celebrating my daughter’s birthday, they surprised us by preparing a birthday dessert plate—thank you so much. We also loved being able to relax in a private bath and enjoy the Onsen at our own pace. If we could have, we would have stayed one more night... Not only were all the staff wonderful, but Takayama is full of kind people with warm smiles, which made this a truly memorable trip. We’d love to come back and stay again in a different season.
