Rebranded and reopened in April 2024 as Grand Mercure Lake Hamana Resort & Spa. All guest rooms include lounge access, where you can enjoy drinks (including alcohol) and light snacks. For a truly relaxing stay, we recommend the all-inclusive plan, which includes dinner, breakfast, drinks and snacks in the lounge, the large public bath, and activities. From April 1, 2025, a new lounge—the “Executive Lake View Lounge”—will open on the Hotel’s top floor (13th floor, approx. 42 m above ground). This luxurious yet tranquil space is available exclusively to guests staying in Executive Twin or Suite rooms. Enjoy this superb resort location on the shores of Lake Hamana—just a short distance from the city—from check-in to check-out.

  • Excellent value for money.

    The Room was clean and spacious, and the 13th-floor lounge offered a wide variety of drinks in a calm atmosphere, with no children running around. The Onsen lounge also had amazake and melon drinks, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. We were very satisfied. The shop carried traditional textiles such as Enshu cotton tsumugi, which made choosing souvenirs enjoyable. We would love to visit again.

    Stayed at the Mercure in Ise.The food, Facility management, and the staff’s hospitality were all excellent.If I had to ask for more, it would be about how crowded it gets!!But that’s probably a sign of its popularity.We travel once a month, and after staying at a certain Hotel chain all over Japan, we were looking for what to try next.We found Mercure and were truly impressed.We look forward to staying with you again.

    Hotel Grand Adventure: Find the Hidden Yokai!

    We are hosting an interactive mission game for kids, “Hotel Grand Adventure: Find the Hidden Yokai!”, set throughout the Hotel.

    This family-friendly indoor adventure invites you to explore the Hotel while searching for clues left by yokai hidden at each spot. Your guide is the mysterious “Nine-Tailed Fox” from local folklore. With a special mission sheet in hand, you’ll tour the Hotel together with the Nine-Tailed Fox, enlist the help of “friendly yokai,” and uncover the weakness needed to defeat a “troublesome yokai.”

    Each location inside the Hotel features quizzes and missions. As you solve them and move through the story step by step, you’ll ultimately reveal the troublesome yokai’s weakness. Children who complete all missions will receive an original Hotel gift.

    Designed as a “first horror experience” that isn’t too scary, this event is safe and enjoyable for children to join with confidence. Recommended especially for elementary school-aged children and up, it’s perfect for families to work together on puzzles and explore the Hotel—an ideal way to create lasting memories during your stay.
