    I had made a Reservation under the Standard Plan, but they upgraded my Room, so I was able to stay at a great value.The breakfast buffet had plenty of options and was delicious—I was very satisfied.There are lots of play areas for small children, but adults can enjoy it too.It was my first time trying pickleball, and I really enjoyed it.It’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

  • A perfect paradise for families with kids who love a good drink.

    We visited after seeing it on Instagram, and it was even more fun than the Reviews and videos said—there simply wasn’t enough time in this Hotel. Especially for families with young children like us, it’s often hard to relax with a drink without relying on videos when you’re with kids who can’t sit still… But in the forest lounge with tatami flooring—where you can feel safe even if you take your eyes off them for a moment—our kids were absorbed in toys and puzzles, and we were able to enjoy draft beer from the beer server for about two hours. It was blissful time we haven’t had in ages. This isn’t just a play area to attract guests; they truly understand families raising children. The signature luxurious buffet at Grand Mercure was also excellent: steak grilled right in front of you, Shine Muscat grapes, a wide variety of international dishes, and even a cotton candy machine that made our kids’ eyes light up. Even after two nights, we never got bored—it was that impressive. In the Room you lay out your own futon, but considering the price I had no complaints at all. In fact, since no one comes into the Room, we could stay two nights without feeling self-conscious or needing to be considerate. We were more satisfied than at the famous Hotels around Lake Shirakaba. We’d love to stay again.
