The second Hotel in the Kamakura Kokon brand grand opened in February 2024. In a serene setting where you can fully experience Hakone’s abundant nature, this is an all-suite auberge with only five suites. Rooms range from 92 to 126 sqm. Escape the bustle of everyday life and enjoy a space overlooking the scenery of Hakone. All guest rooms feature a dry sauna, cold plunge bath, and Owakudani Onsen. The Hotel is filled with art and surrounded by many trees, creating a quiet atmosphere that sets the stage for an extraordinary stay. In the large public bath, we offer two types of baths: a semi-open-air bath and an herbal bath. You can also enjoy Hakone’s scenery and Owakudani Onsen outside your Room. Dining features modern French cuisine focused on seasonal ingredients—nagori (lingering season), shun (in season), and hashiri (first of the season). We source not only local ingredients but also items obtained directly from producers across The whole country. We also offer an extensive wine list, including sommelier-selected wine pairing sets. Enjoy a special moment in your own private space amid the rich natural surroundings of Sengokuhara, Hakone. How about a stay in our all-suite Hotel with only five Rooms?   • We were very satisfied!

    The bath, the Room, the sauna, the food, and all of the staff were amazing. The goats were also incredibly cute and so relaxing! Our daughter was totally absorbed in feeding them, and on the way home she said she definitely wants to stay again! We plan to visit again if we have the chance!

  • We were extremely satisfied!

    I’d been wanting to visit for a long time, and I was finally able to stay this time.Unfortunately, because of the rain there was no goat welcome, but I enjoyed a champagne welcome drink in the lobby and headed to my Room feeling excited.The Room was very spacious and impeccably clean, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The fog was quite heavy so the view wasn’t very clear, but I was told you can see Mt. Fuji on a clear day. I also really appreciated the complimentary free-flow drinks in the refrigerator. I requested refills of various items such as half bottles of champagne and water.The bath is an Onsen, with a faint sulfur scent and just the right temperature. It wasn’t an open-air bath, but opening the window made it feel wonderfully airy. It was also my first time staying in a Room with a sauna (with cold plunge), and it was a great experience—I worked up a good sweat and truly enjoyed it.Dinner was thoughtfully prepared across every dish and absolutely delicious! The wine pairing was excellent as well, and I had a wonderful time until the very end. For a late-night snack, we were served conger eel sushi—far beyond what you’d expect for “late-night,” truly authentic. I enjoyed it with another refill of champagne. For breakfast we chose in-Room dining; the pork miso soup was especially delicious, and being able to have seconds left me completely satisfied.Above all, the staff were courteous with just the right sense of distance while still being incredibly attentive—checking on drink replenishments in our Room and more—which made for an excellent stay.I would love to return for another stay. Thank you very much.
